Hello, my name is David Dunning, and I am a personal English tutor and freelance writer, based in Newport, Gwent, in the United Kingdom.
Personal Tutoring
I am a qualified and experienced tutor, specialising in English, Language and Literature, up to GCSE level.
I am registered with Personal Tutors, where my qualifications and references have been verified, and I have been subjected to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. My Tutor Number is 91600.
I hope that you will find my tutoring style enthusiastic, empathetic and friendly. I am able to travel within a 10 mile radius of Newport.
Freelance Writing
Professionally, as I am also working as a personal English tutor, any writing projects in the spheres of English language or English literature, including literary reviews, and non-fiction generally, are of obvious interest to me.
I also have a background in information technology and I am happy, therefore, to undertake reviews of technological products, gadgets, etc..
On a more personal note, I am passionate about, and have an in-depth knowledge of, all aspects of horse racing. My other interests include golf, sport, in general, and natural and modern history.
My work has been accepted for publication in Verbatim, Golf Monthly, Birds Illustrated and Celtic Heritage magazines.
